Tom holds an M.S. in organizational psychology, and he's done extensive consulting with ministries in strategy, organizational effectiveness, and team dynamics. Clients have included Josh McDowell Ministry, the JESUS Film, Here's Life Inner City, Global Aid Network, and several churches.
He and his wife, Sara, live in Lebanon, Ohio, not far from Cincinnati, and also not from from the Little Miami River, where he loves to canoe.
Mia’s a quixotic dreamer who loves Jesus, ideas, adventure, and caffeine. Though she may not know you yet, she passionately believes you have a unique and vital role to play in God’s plan that will exceed your wildest imagination. Mia also holds some degrees in stuff like biblical studies, psychology, and advanced generalist social work, and has a lot of life experience in everything from designing stuff to fending off attacks from angry geese. She directs Growing Deeper Roots, manages the Library of Historical Apologetics, is a researcher with the Spiritual Readiness Project, contributes to projectthreesixty.org, and has written for The Stream.

Raised in Indiana surrounded by dairy farms and fields, Julie is a country girl who entered the academic world as a first-generation student.
Her love of reading, compassion for people, and search for truth landed her smack dab in the sea of difficult questions involving science, philosophy, and faith. She has a passion for communicating the heady stuff in an understandable way for all and to do so with a lot of heart. For all to know God’s amazing love and grace is her deep desire. She holds a PhD in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Theology, and is a professor of psychology at Goshen College. When she isn’t at the college or spending time with family, she enjoys flower gardening, exercising, upcyling, and making good food.
Allen Shoemaker is Professor of Psychology, Emeritus, Calvin College. He currently does research consulting for Grand Rapids hospitals and the World Health Organization in Geneva.
Allen is also involved in his church, plays tennis and racquetball, and also hikes the Swiss Alps whenever he gets the chance. He is a frequent contributor to Rick Steves' Switzerland Travel Forum.
